Emilia Bartkowiak

A graduate of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (major: law). An attorney-at-law with several years of experience. She is also a long-standing collaborator of legal publishing houses (the author of publications published by, inter alia: INFOR and Wiedza i Praktyka publishing houses).

EXPERIENCE

She gained her experience working with Poznan law firms as an attorney-at-law, providing legal services to business entities, such as, e.g. banks and insurance companies, and also natural persons.

SPECIALISATION

As part of her legal practice, she has dealt with, among other things:

► the provision of comprehensive legal services to companies in the fields of business law, civil law – including labour law, banking law and insurance law,

► the provision of legal representation services in cases related to civil law, labour law and business law as part of legal proceedings and non-litigious proceedings, before all instances of common courts and the Superior Court;

► the provision of legal services related to commercial companies law, including the registration of entities in the National Court Register [KRS] and the registration of changes to entries in the National Court Register, including financial reporting;

► the provision of legal services to banks/financial institutions, including but not limited to the preparation of models of legal forms of securing bank receivables under loans, the development of model loan agreements and model agreements on the legal forms of securing bank receivables, and also the preparation of procedural writs and applications for entries into the register of pledges and entries in land and mortgage registers;

► the provision of legal services to insurance companies in the area of insurance law, including conducting court proceedings related to claims adjustment and recourse proceedings;

► providing legal advice and handling compensation cases [motor insurance claims, bodily injuries and death, medical malpractice, damage to property, accidents at work, delayed flights];

► pursuing claims relating to Swiss franc loans.
